The Network Network Science workshop (led by Tom Brughmans) is capped at 25 participants, so early registration is encouraged to reserve your spot. Do let the conference organizers know if you can no longer attend the workshop.
Please note that the Network Science workshop, the Opening Night Reception and the Keynote Lecture (by Fiona Coward) are all free and included in the price, but require registration for catering purposes.

The conference will be held in Coimbra, a historic city known for its rich cultural heritage and vibrant academic community. Coimbra offers an inspiring setting for discussing the connections of the past in a highly interconnected present. Everything in Coimbra is within walking distance.
For those who signed up for the workshops, the workshops will take place at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies (CEIS) at the University of Coimbra.
The venue on the first day of the conference and the opening night reception will take place at the nearby Centro de Interpretação de Santa Clara-a-Velha which is a short and scenic 20 minute walk from the city centre.
The rest of the events will take place at the Casa Cultura Coimbra. Please see final program for specific venues.
Accommodation & Transportation
Coimbra, a riverfront city in central Portugal and the country’s former capital, is home to a preserved medieval old town and the historic University of Coimbra. The city has many accommodation options to fit all budgets, and attendees should be able to find something to their liking. If you have any questions about potential accommodations, feel free to contact the organizers.
Transportation to Coimbra is fast and easy by train. Arriving from the airport in Lisbon, you can take the metro to Oriente Station, from where you can catch a train to Coimbra. Tickets can be purchased here: https://www.cp.pt/passageiros/pt
